This past month has had me thinking about small business quality control.
About the quality of my own practice and how I’ve become hyper-aware about the quality of other services I pay a lot of money for.
Like my hair stylist, my chiropractor, the restaurants I frequent, my veterinarian, my naturopath and my own massage therapists.
Have I settled for “just o.k.”?
What are the details in their practices that keep me coming back or never to return again?
Why do I feel like some businesses have dropped the ball, are out of tune or just plain incompetent?
Money is tight all around. We are selective where we spend it.
When we do spend it on ourselves for good health reasons, we should expect the best.
I certainly haven’t always got my money’s worth, but when service is great I don’t hesitate to share my pleasure, I applaud and commend.
Last month I asked for feedback. I received some beautiful compliments, but that wasn’t my goal. I was searching for ways you think I could improve my practice.
I guess I have clients that are too nice!

I myself had a few terrible massages this month.
I’ve taken notes and hopefully improved the quality of my own treatments.
