Blessings to all of my wonderful, appreciated, loyal clients!
Yes, that’s you guys.
I am so grateful I get to do what I love, take care of all of you and share my space with you too.
What can you expect here in my studio in 2015?
It will still be a place to relax, unwind, recharge, heal.
Tapping into the 5 senses is my goal.
I’m thinking the smell of a wood fire pit to welcome you as you arrive may be a good start.
I just have to remember to get my butt out there into the cold to have it started before your session.
The rustic look and feeling of a warm camp fire revives the senses.
I’ll be using more aromatherapy during your treatment.
I have found it most beneficial in my own personal decompression during the day to be surrounded by wonderful scents.
Hopefully you can benefit from this as well.
My yearly visit to Le Nodik this Christmas reinstated how much I love the Swedish traditions of hot and cold extremes to enable healing.
Don’t worry, I won’t be having you dip in a cold tub before your massage, but I will give you the option of a heating pad to keep your tootsies warm during your treatment.
I will be re-exploring my Swedish Massage training roots and trying to incorporate those traditions I first studied 15 years ago back into more of my sessions, so stay tuned.
I also realized how much I love music, how much it aids in getting into the zone of meditation and relaxation.
If you have a specific taste in tunes you want for your session, let me know.
My iPhone Songza app can accommodate many music styles. I’m open to change.
I’m switching to hot tea in my room, available to you after your session. Grab a cup to go on your way out.
You are in charge of your health, I’m here to facilitate your journey. I can’t stress enough getting into a good routine with massage appointments. The average client is here every 4-6 weeks. More often of course if you feel you really need it. I’m here when you need me.
Looking forward to a positive year. Fill it with activity, more smiles and all the stuff that gives you joy. CHOOSE to be happy, there are no bad days.
